Course Rationale: This is the second year in a four year algebra course. This course is designed to meet university, state, and community college mathematics requirements. This course will provide powerful tools and shorthand for solving day-to-day problems as well as tools necessary for continuing the study of mathematics.

My Mission Statement: To me, a butterfly symbolizes the growth of an entity (in this case, the learner) and we as educators are here to guide our butterflies as they transition into a more independent, decision making, civic minded adult, better prepared for our society.
I feel it is my responsibility to assist in guiding (developing) the skills needed for essential growth (meeting the standard) in a learning environment of motivation and enthusiasm. In addition, I will perform this in a positive manner while aiding him/her to gain then apply the knowledge needed to help with our butterfly's post secondary journey.
